  7. Welcome to a demonstration version of our NMR simulation 
  8. package gNMR.  The information below describes how to install
  9. this demo and lists the differences between the demo and the
  10. full package.

  16. gNMR comes in three versions: an FPU version, a non-FPU 
  17. version and an optimised PowerPC (PPC) version.

  19. It is advisable that you print out the gNMR Guided Tour 
  20. to take you through different features of gNMR

  22. Differences between the demo and the full version
  23. *************************************************

  25. This demonstration version has nearly all of the capabilities 
  26. of the full version; the only things that are missing are:
  27.  
  28.     - the possibility to save data files
  29.     - utilities to convert and edit measures NMR spectra
  30.     - lots of example files
  31.     - the manual
  32.  
  33. In addition, this demo version will print a banner across 
  34. printed and copied spectra; for complicated calculations, it 
  35. will also show a banner on the screen.

  48. Limitations of the demo version

  51. This demo contains a fully functional version of the gNMR main 
  52. simulation program, with only the following two differences :

  54. *  You cannot save files
  55.  
  56. *  Printed output, clipboard copies, and sometimes screen 
  57. displays of spectra will have the word "DEMO" in big letters 
  58. over it.
